ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a highly experienced Owner, Operator, Pilot, Registered Guide, and Outfitter, with over 30 years in Alaska’s guiding industry and offering fully guided hunts since 1992. Based in the Revelation Mountains of the Alaska Range, about 160 miles west of Anchorage, they specialize in big game hunts in Alaska’s Game Management Units 19-C and 19-D for Dall Sheep, Moose, and Interior Grizzly Bears.
Access to this remote area is by aircraft only. The outfitter operates a Cessna 206 to transport clients, guides, supplies, and gear between Anchorage and the lodge. From the lodge, hunters reach most hunting areas via Super Cub, a specialized aircraft designed for landing in small, rugged areas.
Their team consists of highly skilled and well-equipped guides known for their organization, trophy care expertise, and strong hunting experience. They maintain clean, well-organized spike camps and ensure a professional yet enjoyable hunting experience in Alaska’s wilderness.
HUNT DETAILS:
Moose season runs from September 1-20 in this Game Management Unit, home to a moderate moose population with excellent genetics. Since 2007, this outfitter has maintained an 85% success rate on bulls averaging over 60 inches, with some measuring between 65-71 inches. With multiple pilots and aircraft available, they continuously monitor game populations and adjust accordingly. Their policy is simple—if you aren’t seeing game, they move you to fresh ground. Once a moose is down, aircraft and packers arrive promptly to assist with retrieval.
Single-species moose hunts last 10 hunting days, with travel days bringing the total to 12-13 days. Hunters can also pursue caribou or grizzly on a trophy fee basis by purchasing tags before the hunt.
Travel is streamlined—hunters fly into Anchorage and take a charter to base camp, where all in-field transportation is handled by the outfitter. This is an outstanding hunt for trophy moose or a great combo with caribou or grizzly.
