ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA Endorsed Outfitter offers Alberta trophy Canadian moose rut hunts run from the middle of September through to the middle of October. During the rut the outfitter will do a lot of calling to bring the bulls in. The weather is usually mild this time of year. The larger bulls are usually taken on this hunt averaging from 35"-55" inches. They take a limited number of hunters per season during this time to keep success rates extremely high. This area has arguably the highest moose population in Alberta with the trophy potential being very high. They have been operating this area for years and have been successful due to their quality area and the knowledge they have gained within it.
HUNT DETAILS:
Rut Hunts (Mid-September to Mid-October)
During the peak of the rut, experienced guides use expert calling techniques to lure in bulls, creating an electrifying up-close encounter. With mild weather and high success rates, hunters can expect bulls ranging from 35 to 55 inches. To maintain top-tier success, only a limited number of hunters are taken each season. Options are available for all budgets and physical abilities.
Post-Rut Hunts (November)
After the rut, bulls regroup and focus on feeding. This hunt requires covering vast terrain to locate them before moving in for a thrilling stalk. Weather can range from mild to extreme cold, but the reward is worth it—bulls typically measure 30 to 45 inches. This hunt is perfect for a multi-species adventure, often overlapping with whitetail and mule deer.
Hunting Grounds & Accommodations
Located in the moose-rich forests of Northwestern Alberta’s Peace River Country, this area boasts one of the highest moose populations in the province. Rut hunters stay in a remote tent camp for an immersive wilderness experience, while post-rut hunters enjoy the comforts of a stunning log lodge.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
For the rut hunts during the September and October seasons you will be lodged in a comfortable remote tent camp. With home cooked meals, sleeping tents complete with wood burning stoves and a classic wilderness environment, the tent camps provide the get away many hunters are looking for.
Post rut hunts will be hunting out of a beautiful lodge. The lodge provides a large dining area with a trophy room and social area where you can kick back to share stories or watch some TV. With 4700 sq ft of space, there will be plenty of space for you to spread out after a long day of hunting
