HUNT DETAILS:
These are rifle elk hunts run out of a cabin-based camp in southwest Montana. What sets them apart is the mix of ground. ACCOMMODATIONS:
Camp sits on the outfitter's private land and consists of several small cabins along with a main cookhouse. The cabins give each hunter space and privacy rather than a shared bunkroom, and the camp has both indoor and outdoor restrooms and showers. The cookhouse is outfitted with the comforts of home, including full bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry facilities, and common areas where the group gathers. A cook handles breakfast and dinner every day, and lunch is packed each morning from a wide spread of deli meats, fruits, vegetables, homemade cookies, and snacks. Nobody loses weight on this hunt, and after long days that is exactly the point.
