LICENSE INFORMATION:
Obtaining a pronghorn hunting license in Wyoming offers several options for both residents and non-residents. The primary method is through the state’s draw system, which allocates limited quota licenses for specific hunt areas. Hunters must apply online through the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD), with the application period typically opening in January and closing by early June.
Wyoming offers two draw types: the Special Draw and the Regular Draw. The Special Draw requires a higher license fee but offers better odds of drawing a tag, while the Regular Draw is more affordable but typically more competitive. Preference points are also a key factor, increasing your chances of success over time.
To maximize your odds, contact Huntin' Fool's License Application service for assistance in applying in the draw.
