This HFA Endorsed Outfitter offers spring black bear hunts where you have a chance to harvest 2 color phased black bears. These hunts are offered from the last week of April to the middle of June, and they provide an excellent chance at harvesting on both of your bears, with the opportunity rate regularly maintained at 100% for both bears.
HUNT DETAILS:
Experience the thrill of hunting Alberta’s abundant black bears in prime spring conditions. With a 2-bear limit and 100% opportunity rates, hunters have an excellent shot at taking home not just one, but two trophy bears. This area is renowned for its high bear population, with hunters regularly spotting 80–100 bears per week, including stunning color-phase bears in shades of blonde, cinnamon, brown, and black. Bears average 6 feet, with some exceeding 7 feet.
Spot-and-stalk is the primary method, though a limited number of baited hunts are available each year. Whether you prefer rifle or bowhunting, this hunt promises multiple opportunities and non-stop excitement.
Hunting Grounds
Hunts take place in the remote boreal forests, swamps, and muskeg of Northwestern Alberta, an untamed wilderness known for producing big, mature bears.
This is an excellent opportunity to get out and harvest multiple bears in Alberta with a top notch outfit.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Spring hunters enjoy the comfort of a beautiful log lodge overlooking the Peace River Valley, complete with home-cooked meals from an in-house chef. The lodge provides a large dining area with a trophy room and social area where you can kick back to share stories or watch some TV. With 4700 sq ft of space, there will be plenty of space for you to spread out after a long day of hunting
Those combining a fall bear hunt with moose will experience a traditional tent bush camp, featuring canvas wall tents with wood stoves, cots, and hearty meals cooked in a rustic kitchen tent.
