DESCRIPTION:

This HFA Endorsed Outfitter runs a small personal operation in some of the most remote, rugged and game-rich country in the lower 48. This outfitter guides most clients personally and will be with them during the duration of the hunt. They are fortunate to hunt areas that they know well and strive to offer unparalleled opportunities for solitude and adventure. They take a limited number of clients each year.

They primarily hunt the Northwest corner of Montana which has the highest density of bears in the state. In Montana, all Black Bear hunting is spot and stalk only (no baiting or hound hunting allowed). Limited opportunities along with a great fall berry crop makes this a prime bear hunting destination.

Spring bear season begins April 15 and runs through the end of May. As the snow starts to melt, these bear focus on fresh food and grasses that are found primarily on south facing slopes and old logging roads. Most days are spent hiking and glassing in search of a mature bear.

With incredible bear population paired with beautiful spring weather and scenery, this hunt is not only a great high success hunt but also a great vacation.
