ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This long-established, family-owned and operated guide service has been delivering premier hunting experiences in Hawaii for more than two decades. Built on a deep passion for hunting, conservation, and family tradition, the operation focuses on creating memorable hunts while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety. The guiding team has spent a lifetime studying the local wildlife, terrain, and seasonal patterns, allowing them to consistently locate and pursue quality animals in challenging fair-chase conditions.

Operating exclusively on privately owned ranches where they have maintained long-term outfitting rights for many years, the outfitter has implemented effective wildlife management strategies that help sustain strong populations and produce exceptional trophy opportunities. Their commitment to responsible harvest and habitat stewardship ensures that the hunting experience remains sustainable while continuing to deliver high-quality animals year after year. With a focus on personalized service, conservation ethics, and authentic island hunting, clients can expect a well-organized and rewarding adventure.

HUNT DETAILS:
These hunts focus on free-range Axis deer pursued on large private ranches that offer expansive terrain and excellent glassing opportunities. Due to careful herd management and a limited number of annual bookings, trophy quality remains consistently high. Axis deer in this region typically weigh between 160 and 200 pounds, with mature bucks frequently reaching antler lengths of 30 inches or more.

The prime hunting window runs from mid-April through September, when bucks are most commonly found with fully developed and polished antlers. Hunters can expect warm weather conditions and terrain that ranges from open country to thick vegetation and steep hillsides. This is a rifle-only hunt and typically involves spot-and-stalk methods, glassing for mature bucks and making strategic approaches to get within shooting distance.

The outfitter maintains an extremely high success rate, and group sizes are intentionally limited to ensure each hunter receives personal attention and the best possible opportunity at a mature trophy. Hunters should be in reasonable physical condition, as the terrain can include thick brush, loose rocks, steep slopes, and hot, humid conditions.

GOAT HUNTING DETAILS:
In addition to trophy Axis deer hunts, this outfitter also offers exceptional opportunities for hunting free-range Hawaiian feral goats. These hunts are available year-round and take place on large private ranches that hold strong populations of goats, allowing hunters to see numerous animals throughout the course of a single day. The abundance of game and the outfitter’s extensive experience in the field has resulted in an extremely high success rate, consistently producing both quality trophies and enjoyable hunts for visiting sportsmen.

Mature goats typically average around 75 pounds and come in a wide variety of colors and coat patterns, adding to the visual diversity and excitement of the hunt. Trophy animals can display two primary horn styles. The “traditional spread” style features wide, flaring horns that extend outward, while the “ibex-style” horns curl back in a sweeping arc, creating a very distinctive and desirable trophy. Each year, numerous goats taken during these hunts qualify for record book consideration due to the strong genetics and careful management of the herds.

Goat hunts can be scheduled any day of the week and are commonly completed in a single day, depending on weather conditions and hunter preference. These hunts are highly versatile and can be conducted using rifle, muzzleloader, or archery equipment. Hunters typically employ spot-and-stalk techniques across rugged ranch terrain while glassing hillsides and rocky outcroppings where goats frequently feed and bed.

Because these hunts are offered year-round and can often be completed in a single day, they provide an excellent opportunity for hunters who may be visiting the islands or looking to add an additional species to their trip. Group sizes are limited to ensure a quality experience and to maintain sustainable harvest levels on the properties where the hunts take place.

PIG HUNTING DETAILS:
Wild pig hunting offers an exciting and fast-paced hunting experience and is conducted on large privately owned ranches where all animals are free-ranging. These properties feature a diverse tropical environment with abundant natural food sources such as guava, mango, avocado, plums, papaya, and other fruit trees that attract and sustain strong pig populations. Because of the rich habitat and consistent food supply, hunters can expect excellent opportunities to encounter multiple animals during a hunt.

Wild pigs in the area display a wide range of color variations including black, blonde, brown, red, or mixed patterns. While black pigs are the most common, many hunters pursue the distinctive red-colored hogs, which are particularly popular trophies.

These hunts are traditionally conducted with the assistance of trained hunting dogs that track and bay the pigs. Once the animal is located and held at bay, hunters may approach for the harvest. For those seeking a more traditional and adrenaline-filled experience, pigs can also be taken “Hawaiian style” using a knife once the animal is secured by the dogs. This method creates an intense and unforgettable hunting experience that reflects local hunting traditions.

Pig hunts are available year-round, with the most recommended hunting window typically running from November through April when conditions are particularly favorable. Hunts are generally conducted during the cooler parts of the day, including early mornings and late afternoons, and most hunts can be completed in a half day to one full day depending on weather conditions and hunter preferences.

With a success rate of approximately 98%, hunters have a strong chance of harvesting a pig, although harvesting a mature boar cannot be guaranteed. The outfitter works hard to provide every hunter with the best opportunity possible. While weekends and certain holidays are the preferred scheduling times, weekday hunts can also be arranged when availability allows. Group sizes are limited to maintain a quality hunting experience and ensure proper wildlife management on the ranches where the hunts take place.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunters typically stay in comfortable nearby lodging while enjoying access to the private ranches where the hunts take place. The outfitter focuses on providing a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently so hunters can concentrate on the hunt itself.

Field support includes knowledgeable guides who assist with spotting, stalking, and trophy evaluation. After the harvest, the outfitter can assist with preparing hides and horns for shipment to the client’s taxidermist within the United States. If a hunter does not already have a taxidermist, recommendations can be provided. International hunters may ship their trophies through a certified U.S. taxidermist and broker, with all packing, export, and shipping costs being the responsibility of the client.

Hunters are encouraged to bring lightweight, breathable clothing in natural camouflage patterns, quality hiking boots, binoculars, and a small pack for water and personal gear. Lightweight rain gear and sunscreen are also recommended due to the warm and sometimes humid island conditions.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
All hunters are required to possess a valid Hawaii hunting license before participating in the hunt. A certified hunter education or hunter safety certificate from any state is required to obtain this license. Individuals without proof of hunter education are not eligible to purchase a license.

Hunters traveling with firearms should contact their airline carrier and the appropriate authorities for current regulations regarding transporting firearms or archery equipment. Upon arrival, hunters bringing rifles must register their firearm with the local police department within the required timeframe and follow all applicable state regulations.

All hunts take place on private ranches, and the outfitter holds exclusive hunting rights to these properties, ensuring a controlled environment with carefully managed wildlife populations and a quality hunting experience.
