Hunts are based out of the outfitter's cabin and lodge area, and then depending on the hunt, spike camps would be established within a short 10-15 minute super cup flight from the cabins/lodge. It's located in a remote wilderness area, offering hunters a true backcountry experience, with the option of hunting from the lodge, cabins, and or mountain tents. ?Nonresident hunters seeking to pursue grizzly bears in Alaska can obtain the necessary licenses and tags over the counter, provided they adhere to specific state regulations. You must hire a Licensed Guide because Alaska law mandates that nonresidents hunting brown/grizzly bears must be accompanied in the field by an Alaska-licensed guide or an Alaska resident who is a relative of second-degree kindred (e.g., parent, sibling, child, grandparent) and at least 19 years old.? This requirement ensures the safety and legality of the hunt.
Before obtaining a grizzly bear tag, hunters must acquire a nonresident hunting license, which costs approximately $160. ?After securing the hunting license, hunters need to purchase a metal locking tag for grizzly bears. The cost for this tag is approximately $1,000. ?
At the time of purchasing the grizzly bear tag, nonresident hunters must provide the name and residence of their accompanying registered guide or qualified relative. This information is recorded to ensure compliance with state regulations. We help with all of this, as will the outfitter.
