HUNT DETAILS:
British Columbia offers one of the best mountain goat hunts in the world, with unmatched opportunities for trophy-class billies. This late-season hunt, running from November to February, is the ultimate pursuit, targeting long-haired, heavy-horned billies at their prime. The rut in late November draws mature males to lower elevations, making for exciting stalks in breathtaking, snow-covered terrain.
This is a true mountain hunt, where rugged adventure meets world-class trophy potential. Using tracked quads to access the backcountry, hunters navigate the steep, rocky terrain of the Coast Mountains—prime goat country. These mountains, shaped by ancient geological forces, are a mix of sheer cliffs, granite outcroppings, and dense forests, creating the perfect habitat for these incredible animals. ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunters begin their adventure at main camp, based out of a comfortable cabin, before heading into the mountains. While the hunt is conducted from outfitter-provided single-person spike camps, a few nights may be spent in a tent closer to the hunting area to reduce strenuous daily hikes. Meals include high-quality dehydrated food, ensuring energy for the demanding terrain. Expect a rugged, immersive experience, fully embracing the remote wilderness.
