ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-Endorsed Outfitter has been in operation since 1982 and is run by a Wyoming family now in its fifth generation in the state. That kind of history brings a working knowledge of the country and the animals that live on it, and it shapes how the guides approach each hunt. The operation is based in Wyoming and pursues mule deer, elk, antelope, Shiras moose, and mountain lion. Both fully guided and outfitted packages and unguided do-it-yourself options are available, so hunters can choose the level of support that fits how they want to hunt. Decades of working the same ground give the guides a depth of familiarity that is difficult to match.

HUNT DETAILS:
Elk hunts with this outfitter take place in draw-only units, and the country worked is among the stronger trophy areas in the state. Bull quality reflects that. Two paths are available to hunters holding a tag. The fully guided and outfitted package is all-inclusive, pairing each hunter with a guide and covering the logistics from arrival onward, including transportation from the airport, lunches and beverages in the field, and hauling the animal to a meat processor and a taxidermist afterward. The unguided do-it-yourself option suits hunters who would rather run their own hunt and are looking for access more than a full support package. On the guided hunts, the hunt concludes on the day the animal is harvested, so hunters should be prepared to make the most of an opportunity when it comes. Anyone booking either option should arrive in good physical condition and comfortable with their weapon, since elk hunting in this country rewards preparation and patience.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Lodging on the fully guided hunts depends on the timing of the hunt. Early season hunters are based out of a wall tent camp, while later hunts run out of a lodge, and both serve as the base for the duration of the stay. Meals are covered on the guided package, with dinner served in camp and lunches and beverages packed for the field each day. Transportation is handled as well, including pickup and drop-off at the airport and runs to the meat processor and the taxidermist after a successful hunt.
