ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-Endorsed Outfitter was founded in 2017 with the stated goal of becoming Montana's premier hunting operation. The specialty is elk and deer on private ground in Montana's best general units, along with private land hunts in special draw units and exclusive permit areas. Through industry connections, the operation has since expanded well beyond Montana to include aoudad hunts in southwest Texas and Mexico. The emphasis throughout is on quality over volume and on personalized service rather than moving hunters through on a schedule. For a relatively young operation, the goal they set is ambitious, and the private access behind it is what makes it credible.
HUNT DETAILS:
The private ground this outfitter leases carries a strong, healthy population of cow elk, and this hunt exists to take advantage of that. It runs across more than twenty-five thousand acres of private land in the Boulder Valley, operated out of the main lodge. Up to six hunters can be hosted at a time, which keeps the group manageable and the pressure on the property controlled. That control is a large part of why the hunt produces. Elk on these leases are not being pushed around by outside hunters, so they behave normally and stay where the habitat supports them. For a hunter who wants meat in the freezer, an accessible Montana elk hunt, or simply more time in good elk country, this is a practical option. Guides know these leases and where the elk hold. Success rates on the hunt have been high, and private land access is the reason. Hunters should come ready to work for it.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The lodge has five separate rooms, so each hunter gets privacy rather than sharing a bunkroom, which is not something every operation offers. The living spaces are large and work well as a gathering point, and evenings tend to run long with everyone going back over the day. Meals are cooked and provided, handled by either a cook or one of the guides, so nobody is shopping or cooking during the stay. With up to six hunters at a time, the lodge never feels crowded, and the hunting is run out of the same building, so mornings start without a long drive.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
The required hunting license, tags, and permits for this hunt may be purchased online before your hunt or over the counter upon arrival at a license vendor.
