This HFA Endorsed Outfitter has been offering these drop camps for over 20 years. These hunts are for the avid archery hunter looking for a challenging and rewarding hunting adventure.

Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, the Bighorn Mountains are a prime elk hunting destination, with vast expanses of wilderness and abundant elk populations. With a drop camp hunting trip, you'll have the opportunity to get off the beaten path and hunt in some of the most remote and pristine areas of the Bighorn Mountains.

This outfitter provides a pack in service to one of seven locations. He provides a wall tent style camp with a stove, cots, tables, etc. Hunters are responsible for providing their own sleeping bag and food for the hunt. If you do get an elk down, you are required to pack it to a trail that is accessible by horse. Most camps are a 3-4 hour horse ride from the trailhead.
