Originally brought to the islands in the 1700's by Capt. Vancouver, these goats exist in more rugged terrain. Being a "fugitive species", large numbers are found in the vicinity of steep cliffs and lava fields. This outfitter boasts a population of over 1,500 animals in their combined hunting areas. Trophy animals are considered anything over 22" length or spread. Management/meat hunts are also available. The season is open year-round. Their Moloka’i ranches have great Axis deer, Blackbuck antelope, and Spanish goat hunting. Molokai is a short 15 minute flight on Mokulele Airlines from Maui or Honolulu and they also have a Toyota Tacoma truck they park at the airport for hunters as well as a condo available for hunters at Wavecrest Resort. The season to hunt Spanish Goats is year round! All hunting conducted with this outfitter is free-range/fair chase on privately owned ranches, not to forget that the outfitter has exclusivity on each ranch making each hunt controlled and opportunistic for each client.

This outfitter offers excellent free-range quality 1x1 hunts for all of Hawaii species on over 200,000 acres of private land managed for trophies by quotas. All of their hunting is free range and over the past 30+ years they have had 99.5% opportunity on their hunts. This outfitter specializes in Hunting on the Big Island, Maui, and Molokai for Axis deer, Spanish and “Hawaiian Ibex” Goats, Black Hawaiian Sheep, Polynesian Wild Boar, and more. The HFA team has had great experiences hunting with this outfitter on multiple islands. They currently operate on 4 different pieces of private land that are each approximately 30,000 acres. They have 4 guides that are very familiar with the terrain and ranches, and that consistently produce trophy quality animals for their clients. They can guide up to 4 hunters a day. Their large, private ranches provide hunting on several islands and is the perfect opportunity to combine a family vacation with a hunt of a lifetime. They have been a full service outfitting company since 1992, and all of their guides were born and raised in Hawaii and have a combined 100+ years of hunting experience.
