Twelve years ago John Petersen started doing freelance work for The Huntin' Fool and had a tremendous amount of influence on the design of our magazine and marketing materials during the early years. Eight years ago he was hired as our full time Art Director. All along he has been developing The Huntin' Fool brand and has been the driving force behind making sure that the look and feel of everything we produce matches and portrays the quality of our content.
For the past 4 years John and Jason have been in charge of all Huntin' Fool content and editorial decisions, from choosing what stories we print to what makes the cover and coming up with supplemental articles they feel will enhance the magazine and help our members. For the past 3 years John has been our main contact for our "Endorsed Product" companies.
John is also an avid writer and contributes several articles per year on gear, photography, and story writing. When he's not putting together one of our magazines John tries to be fishing or hunting and has hunted in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, and Montana.
