Founder of Carter's Hunter Services, Garth graduated from Utah State University with a Wildlife Degree in 1975 and immediately went to work for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, retiring after 20 years. While working for the Utah DWR, Garth hunted 3-4 western states annually, acquiring a vast knowledge of trophy hunting in the west. After 20 years with the Utah DWR, Dunn's (the catalog company) hired Garth as their North American Hunting Consultant. In 1996 Garth opened the doors of Carter's Hunter Services and since has become one of North America’s premier hunting consultants and publisher of The Huntin' Fool monthly magazine.
